Gender Pay Gap Services

Helping Irish organisations comply with legal requirements

What is the Gender Pay Gap?

Under Ireland's Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021, employers are required to report annually on pay disparities between genders, including providing explanations and outlining action plans.

The Gender Pay Gap refers to the difference in average pay between employees of different genders across an organisation, highlighting inequalities in representation and rewards. It is distinct from the concept of equal pay for the same job, focusing instead on structural disparities within the workforce.

Who must report?

  1. Employers with 250+ employees: Required to report from 2022 onwards.
  2. Employers with 150+ employees: Required to report from 2024 onwards.
  3. Employers with 50+ employees: Required to report from 2025 onwards.
